Glo-Protek Polyurethane based Wear Coat-244
A two component Surface-Tolerant coating based on Polysulfide modified epoxy resin incorporating zinc phosphate pigment and cured with Phenalkamine hardener.
SUGGESTED USES :
The system is developed for concrete surfaces exposed to continuous UV and in open areas
such as car parks , pavers etc. The system is a combination of water based moisture resistant 2
component primer followed by a 2 component Polyurethane wear coat with antiskid texture
followed by a UV resistant polyurethane coat in glossy or MATT texture.
The surface is suitable for light vehicle movement, walking, etc.
Typical properties of the coating :
- Abrasion resistance
- Taber 75-80 mg loss using CS-17, 1000g,1000 cycles
- Compressive strength : 600 kg/cm2
- Hardness 80 shore D
Thickness : Including broadcast sand approx 1.5-2mm
Procedure : Application of water based 2 component primer followed by PU wear coat followed by sand broadcast followed by Polyurethane top coat – 2 coats.
Colours : All RAL shades available.
Packing : Pilfer proof HDPE containers in Kits.
